Who it suits

Built for teams that own the client relationship

  • Agencies

SEO agencies that want to stop running publisher outreach in-house but still need to explain each placement to clients.

  • Web and design agencies

Web and design agencies adding off-page work to an SEO retainer they already sell, without hiring an outreach team.

  • Consultants

Consultants who set the strategy and want a fulfillment partner to execute agreed link targets.

The outcome

Placements on sites that passed agreed selection criteria, with a delivery report showing what was published, where, with which link attributes and when.

Deliverables

What you receive, in units

Per order

Opportunity shortlist

Candidate publishers screened against the criteria agreed for this client and market.

Format: Spreadsheet: domain, topical fit note, traffic evidence and its date, language, placement conditions.

Per placement

Content coordination

A brief and a contribution prepared to the publisher's editorial guidelines, aligned to the agreed target page.

Format: Document shared for review where your scope includes content approval.

Per order

Placement delivery report

Every placement in the order with its status, including anything still pending or replaced.

Format: Unbranded report: live URL, target URL, anchor text, link attributes as published, date found live.

Not included

  • Guaranteed rankings, traffic, leads or indexation.
  • Guaranteed "dofollow" links or links sold to pass ranking credit.
  • Private blog networks, link exchanges, automated or bulk link schemes.
  • Sponsored content presented as independent editorial without the publisher's required labelling.
  • Ongoing monitoring of placements after delivery, unless separately agreed.
  • Strategy for which pages to target. You or your client confirm targets and anchors before work starts.

Quality checks

  • Topical fit: the site regularly publishes for readers in the client's subject area.
  • Real editorial context: the link sits inside content written for readers, not on a page built to sell links.
  • Traffic evidence: recorded with the source and the date it was checked, because third-party estimates change.
  • Language and market match the client's audience.
  • Placement conditions recorded: sponsored labelling, link attributes and the publisher's stated policy on edits or removals.
  • Authority scores (such as DR or DA) are recorded as one input. A score alone never qualifies a site.

Plain definitions

What each word in a report means

So you and your client read status updates the same way.

1Source opportunity
A publisher that might accept a contribution. Not yet qualified, not yet agreed, and nothing is promised at this stage.
2Approved placement
An opportunity that passed the selection criteria and the approvals agreed in your scope. Approval does not mean it is live.
3Published URL
The live page containing the link, recorded with the date found live and the link attributes as published.
4Performance result
Any later change in rankings or traffic. It depends on many factors outside a single placement and is never part of the deliverable.
Four-stage diagram of link building: source opportunity, approved placement and published URL are verifiable deliverables; performance result is an outcome that is never guaranteed.
Only the first three stages are deliverables you can verify.

How an order runs

Every step has a named owner

You always know whose move it is, and nothing is delivered that you haven't scoped.

  1. Step 1

    Brief

    You

Send the service, rough quantity, market and anything the client has ruled out. No client logins needed.

  2. Step 2

    Scope and quote

    SEOReseller

We confirm what's deliverable, flag gaps and send a written scope with price, exclusions and terms.

  3. Step 3

    Permissions and approvals

    You and your client

You accept the quote. Your client grants any access by invitation, and you approve targets or content where the scope says so.

  4. Step 4

    Delivery and QA

    SEOReseller

Work is done to the agreed criteria and checked before it's reported. Anything blocked is flagged, not hidden.

  5. Step 5

    Report and revisions

    SEOReseller, then you

You get an unbranded report to review and forward. Revisions follow the limits written into your quote.

  • Target pages and preferred anchor themesEntered in the order brief.
  • Client niche, market and languageEntered in the order brief.
  • Topics, competitors or sites the client wants to avoidEntered in the order brief.
  • Approval contact for content (if content approval is in scope)Named in the brief. No client account access is needed.

What you sign off

Approvals and permissions

  1. 1

You confirm target pages, anchor themes and exclusions before research starts.

  2. 2

Content is shared for approval where your scope includes it.

  3. 3

The delivery report is issued once each placement has been verified live or marked with its outstanding status.

  • You confirm you have your client's authority to commission off-page work for their domain.
  • No access to the client's website, analytics or Search Console is required for this service.

Turnaround, revisions, payment and cancellation terms are set out in writing in your quote before any work starts.

Price model

Quoted from your scope

We don't show a headline price that wouldn't survive contact with your actual brief. Your quote is built from these factors.

What changes the quote

  • Number of placements and how they are spread across target pages.
  • Niche difficulty. Some topics have fewer relevant publishers or stricter editorial standards.
  • Market and language.
  • Whether content approval rounds are included.
  • Publisher fees, where a publisher charges for sponsored or contributed content.

Available as a one-off project or recurring monthly delivery.

Questions

Link building: common questions

Will links be dofollow?
We report the attributes each publisher actually used. We do not sell or guarantee links meant to pass ranking credit. Paid placements should be qualified, for example with rel="sponsored".
Is a high DR or DA enough to qualify a site?
No. Third-party authority scores are recorded, but topical fit, real readership evidence, editorial context and placement conditions decide whether a site is suitable.
Will the report mention SEOReseller?
The delivery report is unbranded so you can forward it under your own agency name. The exact report format is shown on the sample reports page.

Scope link building for a client
